Son of Henry II and King of England 1189-99, Richard I was known as a very powerful king, a chivalrous knight, and a fearless warrior. He was called Coeur de Lion or Richard the Lionheart. This sword is awesome for someone looking for a lightweight single hand prop. Measures 37.5" inches overall with scabbard. The sword itself measures 34.75" inches in length with a 26.5 inch 440 polished stainless steel blade (factory edge). Complete with a coordinating scabbard and complimentary steel fittings.
