Where is the World’s Largest Halloween Party?

Few like to let the Fall season go by without attending some sort of Halloween themed party! Costumes, music, delicious treats like candy, apple cider, and pumpkin pie galore…what more could a party attendee ask for? Well, as it turns out many costume loving Halloween fans are looking for something more this year.

Many are seeking to leave the small office and family parties behind for all out large scale celebrations. The search terms “world’s biggest Halloween party” and “huge Halloween party” seem to be very popular this week. Several events, venues, and organizations are even self proclaiming the title of 2011’s largest Halloween event.

One well known large-scale Halloween celebration, The West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnival, will be a popular destination. In 2009, the event was hailed by SFgate.com as the world’s largest Halloween party. This year the adults only event is holding an enormous masquerade at which one cosplayer’s costume will be awarded the title of “Best Costume Design.”
This year’s party at the Louisville, Kentucky Zoo is also sure to be an exciting one. The annual Halloween celebration is often said to be the world’s largest as well. This year superheroes, fairies, and other costumed characters will be seen throughout the entire zoo. This event attracts visitors from all over the region.

The West Halloween Carnival and the “World’s Largest Halloween Party” and the Louisville, Kentucky zoo are just two of the many events laying claim to the title of most happening Halloween event. Although it’s tough to say which event is actually “bigger,” one thing is for sure. These are two parties costume lovers everywhere would love to attend.
