This year’s Wizard World Austin Comic Con will take place from November 11th through November 13th at the Austin Convention Center in downtown Austin Texas. The event, which is often referred to as North America’s largest pop-culture tour will truly be offering it’s costume, superhero, and comic loving guests some huge treats this time around.
Standout guests like Hayden Panettiere, Adam Baldwin, Academy Award Winner Louis Gossett Jr., James Marsters, Juliet Laundau and Charisma Carpenter will all be headlining Wizard World’s list of celebrity attendees according to a September 23rdd press release issued by Wizard World, Inc. It is not yet known if celebrities are expected to arrive in costume from their respective series, but nonetheless, these faces are sure to attract some attention.
Wizard World Austin Comic Con brings together thousands of fans of all ages along with dozens of celebrities and industry professionals to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.
This year’s event has much work to celebrate. Fans and attendees should be able to explore special news, gear, and other special information about titles like “Heroes,” Bring It On, Full Metal Jacket, “Serentity,” “Caprica,” “Veronia Mars,” and more.
In other interesting Wizard World Austin Comic Con news, the five original child cast members of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be reuniting at the event. This will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the film’s release.
As always, guests are being encouraged to attend dressed in the costume of their favorite villain, superhero, or pop culture personality. Aside from the celebrity attractions, interactive product exhibits, time to shop for collectible comics, movie and television memorabilia, toys and games, as well as scores of dealers both will all make this event a must-see.
