Valentine Dress Up

Type the word “Valentine” into our search field and you’ll get:

  • a red sequined flapper costume
  • a kid’s queen of hearts costume
  • red chiffon fairy wings for adults and pink ones for kids,
  • some saucy undergarments for ladies, and

3 cosplay costumes with varying levels of holiday appropriateness:

  • Final Fantasy VII’s Vincent Valentine – described as "a bit of a loner" who "appears cold on the surface." Not so lovey-dovey, but red and cool!
  • Cowboy Bebop’s Faye Valentine – slightly more appropriate for Valentine’s Day, since, “She puts herself into situations where men lust after her” and “she may get a thrill out of being desired.”
  • Resident Evil 3’s Jill Valentine – tough but pretty, and "her action and atmosphere has charm". Someone guys and girls can both appreciate!

Type in “Cupid” and you’ll get a couple of cute and sexy winged outfits for women and our awesome Cupid Kit Bow & Arrow -- a gorgeous pair of red wings with color-coordinated weapon of love.

Typing in “Love” brings up a wide array great Valentine party choices which include:

  • Venus, the Goddess of Love
  • I Love Lucy
  • Love Boat Captain Stubing
  • Love Boat Cruise Director Julie
  • Sexy Love Bug
  • Prisoner of Love costumes
  • Love Guru
  • Hippie Love Child

In addition there are some sexy underthings and one cosplay costume – from Bleach, Love Aikawa. According to the Bleach Wiki, “Despite his comparatively friendly attitude, Love is a rather brutal and merciless fighter”. Not very Valentine-y!

There’s only one cosplay con taking place on Valentine’s Day itself, and it’s Anime-SPARK! In Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have a ready answer to your question, “Why Valentine's Weekend?” “It was an easy date to book for hotels, and we could come up with some cool event themes [like] our host club, date auction, and formal ball dances….”
