Halloween Anime Style

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has a ton of stuff planned for Halloween, which they’re calling Hong Kong Halloween Treats. Cosplayers will want to plan for the big party on October 23rd, where you can meet master cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao and Japanese culture blogger extraordinaire Danny Choo.

For great ideas for your Halloween Cosplay, check out the contest page from Animax Asia where cosplayers have been sending photos to win a trip to Hong Kong. Though the judging has already happened, you can still view the photos to inspire your next cosplay.

The top three seem to be made up of Gothic Maid Haruhi Suzumiya and two Chii’s from Chobits. Some of the most viewed include Beleth from Lineage Online, Crimson Viper, Lucis Verdictus, Miku Hatsune from Sandplay Singing of The Dragon and Shakugan No Shana.

You can also get plenty of inspiration looking at Alodia’s past cosplays on Deviant Art.com. She and her sister, Ashley, have performed some of the most impressive and classic cosplay routines ever seen. Take their Witchblade cosplay, for example.
