Anime Cons Abound

Pretty much anywhere you are this weekend, there’s an anime con nearby. AnimeCons.com has a list of nine cons taking place between March 19th and 21st all across the U.S. and in Canada, and Australia as well. And next week, to finish off the month of March, there are another nine spanning from the UK in the Atlantic, across the U.S. and then across the Pacific to Japan. But that doesn’t mean that there will be cosplay or costume competitions necessarily, so check their websites before you go.

Vericon at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA seems pretty interesting. They’ve only got one masquerade ball for cosplay, but it features the Verilympics for gamers of all genres – you know how high-achieving Harvard students can be.
